Description
Rose Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of brown brick and features a timber eaves cornice and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical three-bay elevation. The front includes double-leaf glazed doors with an overlight, set within a reeded doorcase, flanked by 16-pane sash windows that have 4-pane underlights and sills, all under wedge lintels. On the first floor, there are smaller 16-pane sash windows with sills. The roof has a hipped design and is complemented by a modillion eaves cornice and end stacks. Inside, the farmhouse features a cut string stair with slender turned newels.
