Description
Seaton Old Hall is a house dating from the late 17th century, which was remodeled in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick, has a colourwashed finish, and features a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical elevation with three bays. There is a moulded plinth at the base. The central bay projects forward and contains a 20th-century door set in a round opening, which has moulded imposts and is situated beneath a moulded band. Original window heads, now disused, can be seen to the right and left of the centre; these feature segmental pediments on either side and triangular pediments at the ends. These original windows have been replaced by single two-pane sash windows on each side. On the first floor, there are also two-pane sashes. The building has a stepped brick eaves cornice on the right and left bays, an axial stack, and plain close verges.
