Milestone located at the east end of Milestone Cottage, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of stone and features a cast-iron plaque. The milestone stands approximately 0.80 metres tall and has a round-topped stone with an oval plaque that is inscribed with the words: "Selby 10 Weighn 8".
