Description
The dovecote at Foggathorpe House is a mid-18th century structure built of brick in English garden wall bond, topped with a pantile roof. It stands two storeys tall and has two bays. The building features two board doors, with the right door located beneath a divided overlight. There is a fixed window on the first floor, and the eaves have a stepped course. The gable end includes a slatted window and bird perches, although the bird openings have been blocked. The gable is finished with coping and shaped kneelers. This dovecote is included for its group value.
