Description
This building, originally a house and now a pair of cottages, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of orange brick and has a pantiled roof. The structure is two storeys high and features three bays. The door, which is made up of six raised and fielded panels, is located to the left of the central bays, while a boarded door is situated to the right. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars, set under segmental brick arches. On the first floor, there are similar windows in the first and second bays, and a sliding sash window in the third bay. The left bay features an oversized painted sundial, complete with a painted timber gnomon supported by wrought-iron stays, located on the first floor. A similar sundial can be found at Dial Hall in the same parish. This building is included for its group value.
