Description

Lings Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later additions. It is constructed of brick and chalk, rendered, lined, and colour-washed, topped with a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has five bays arranged in a 2:1:2 pattern. The central entrance features a panelled and glazed door set within a 20th-century rustic timber porch. On either side of the door are four-pane sash windows with architraves and sills. The first floor also has five similar sash windows. The farmhouse has raised coped gables supported by shaped kneelers, along with end and axial stacks that have decorative bands.
