Description
Nos 13 and 14 on The Green are a pair of cottages that were originally built as one house in the early 18th century and re-roofed in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from graduated squared rubble, with some later brick rebuilding, and feature a pantiled roof. They have a centre lobby-entry plan and are single storey with attics, comprising three bays.
The front has an open timber rustic porch leading to a pair of boarded doors. To the left of the doors is a three-light sliding sash window with glazing bars, and to the right are two two-light sliding sash windows, also with glazing bars, all set under segmental brick arches. There are three attic dormers, each with a two-light sliding sash window with glazing bars. The building has external end and axial stacks, and the eaves overhang.
