Description

Red House is an early 19th-century brick house with stone dressings and a slate roof. The house has a plinth and two storeys, with three bays arranged symmetrically. The front features a six-panel door with an overlight, set within a doorcase flanked by 16-pane sashes. Above the door, a 12-pane sash is present, and further 16-pane sashes are positioned to the left and right, all with sills and under cambered lintels with feathered keyblocks. The window lintels are channelled and wedge-shaped. End stacks are visible. The building is listed for its group value.
