Description

The stocks located at the corner of Water Street were built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are made of cast iron and feature open work iron uprights and beams with leg holes for three people. There is also a bench made of cast iron. The stocks are enclosed by a cross base and sundial, which are surrounded by 20th-century railings.
