GV II

Set of 2 gate piers and 2 terminal piers with linking walls. Probably mid C19. Dressed monolithic piers, random rubble walls. All the piers are square, approx. 2m high, with plinths, chamfered corners, a sunk panel in each face, plain cornices and flat tops. The linking rubble walls are approx. 6m long (that on the south side of the gateway canted outwards) and slightly lower than the piers, with rounded coping stones.
