Description
The gatepiers, flanking walls, and terminal piers located approximately 2 metres south of Hall Lodge date from the mid-19th century. The piers are made of dressed stone with ashlar dressings, while the flanking walls are constructed from stone rubble, featuring a dressed stone plinth and capping. The piers are square in section, with a short flanking wall on the left side and a curving wall on the right side. Each pier has a moulded ashlar cap, and the gatepiers are topped with large stone balls that have fluted bands.
