Description

Newbridge Bridge is a road bridge over the River Taw, built in 1809 and attributed to James Green. It is constructed from ashlar and features a triple span with three elliptical arches. The central arch is flanked by rounded cutwaters and shallow projecting pilaster buttresses that rise to the height of the parapet. The parapets curve away slightly at each end.
