Description

The gate piers at the entrance to Pier Lodge date from the mid to late 19th century and are made of granite. They are a pair of rusticated granite piers that are square in section and feature granite caps. These piers are associated with Pier Lodge, which is one of the lodges to Oxton House, and they hold group value with it. Their current location may not be their original position.
