Description
The base of a churchyard cross with a sundial is located in St Mary's Churchyard. This structure dates back to the medieval period but was altered in 1714. It is made of stone and features four circular steps leading up to an octagonal chamfered stone base of the medieval cross. The base is carved with the initials I W and the year 1714. On top of this, there is a bronze sundial and gnomon dated 1815, which was donated by J James and G Hearn. The sundial is made of wood.
