Description
Nos. 5 and 6 Sefton Mill Court are houses that likely date from the late 18th century and have undergone some alterations. They are constructed of brick with a slate roof, and part of the structure sits on a stone base. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of five bays, with an outshut featuring a lean-to roof on the left side. The windows display varied designs, including some with segmental heads, but all are currently bricked up. There is a bricked-up entrance in the first bay, an end lateral stack, and another stack located in the roof pitch. The rear of the buildings also has bricked-up windows and entrances, along with a large entrance from the 20th century added to the left-hand end. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to be intact, featuring original timber work. The houses are included for their group value.
