Description

The cross base, located to the north of the lych gate southwest of St. Helen's, is probably of medieval origin. It is made of square stone and features a square mortise, although the cross itself is missing. It is believed to have been relocated from Sefton Town, a now-demolished settlement at the junction of Brickwall Lane and Lydiate Lane.
