Description
Nos. 3 and 4 Mossley Hill Drive are two houses built in the 1880s. They are constructed from common brick, featuring red brick and stone dressings. The building has nine bays, with the first three and the last bays projecting forward under pebble-dashed gables. The first bay is an octagonal projecting bay topped with a swept pyramidal roof and a button finial. There is a cornice at the ground floor and another at the top. Flush stone bands are present at both the sill and lintel levels. The windows are sash style without glazing bars and have cornices above them. The end bay features a two-storey canted bay window, while the sixth and seventh bays have a projecting two-light window. The first-floor windows are adorned with pilastrade, and the central bays include two roof dormers with pargeted gables. The building is capped with five tall stacks.
