Description

The Statue of Peter Pan, created in 1928 by Sir George Frampton, is a bronze figure depicting J.M. Barrie's iconic boy-hero Peter Pan, positioned on a fallen tree stump surrounded by fairies and small animals. This statue is a copy of the original monument located in Kensington Gardens, which was presented anonymously to the public in London in 1912. It is recognized as one of the most famous and cherished examples of the "New Sculpture" movement, which was prominent from the late Victorian period until the First World War.
