Description

The iron bridge, built around 1870 by André and Hornblower, spans a stream and ravine between Ibbotsons Lane and Queens Drive junctions. It features cast iron construction with arch-braced iron piers that support iron girders, which are complemented by open trellis panels and iron railings. The bridge has brick end piers topped with stone cornices, and each pier is adorned with ornamental iron lamps, although one lamp is missing on the northeast pier.
