Description

This is a house dating from the 1880s. It is built of common brick with red brick and terracotta detailing, and has a tile roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has four bays, with the first bay projecting and featuring a tile-hung gable. The fourth bay also projects and is canted, with a hipped roof. A weathered sill band and drip mould are present on the ground floor, and a cogged sill band on the first floor. The ground floor windows are stone cross windows; the first-floor windows are sash windows with segmental heads, brick architraves, and brick detailing. A dormer window in the fourth bay has a tiled gable, and a central, raking dormer is present. The group value is that it contributes to the character of the area.
