Description
This is a house dating back to the 18th century, although it incorporates an earlier structure. The exterior is roughcast brick with a plain tile roof. The house is two storeys high, with an attic and a cellar, and has a symmetrical 4-window front. The windows are late 19th-century casements set within moulded surrounds, each window arch being roughcast. A common storey band runs across the front, above which are two dormers, also slate-hung and containing casements. The ground floor features a late 19th-century six-panel door within a moulded case, positioned under a blocked recess to the left, with two late 19th-century casements to the right and a single late 19th-century light. There is a storey band above the ground-floor windows. The group value of this building stems from its contribution to the character of Corve Street.
