Description

This is a late 18th-century house, incorporating a 17th-century core, located on Corve Street in Ludlow. It is now used as a shop and dwelling. The house is constructed of painted brick with a 20th-century plain tile roof and a brick stack at the rear. It is three storeys high, with a symmetrical two-window front. The ground floor has 8/8 sash windows in moulded frames, each with a segmental arch above it, and a 4/4 sash window above that. A central part-glazed door is set within a beaded case and covered by a 20th-century moulded flat hood, flanked by 8/8 sash windows. The left gable shows timber framing with 18th-century brick infill, and some timber is visible below. A gable wall visible in the passage between numbers 91 and 98 displays late 17th-century box framing.
