Description
Trotter House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with an earlier core. It is constructed of painted brick and has a plain tile roof, with brick stacks at the rear. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range with 6/6 sash windows from the late 19th century, set in moulded cases with timber sills beneath segmental arches. There is a storey band with a firemark and moulded wood on the soffit board.
On the right side, there is a 20th-century plank door with a hood, and to the left, a 20th-century 1/6 sash window, both in altered openings. To the right, there is a 20th-century 8/8 sash window under a gauged brick flat arch. On the far left, steps lead up to plank double doors in a plain case with a shouldered architrave, topped with a moulded pediment hood and a storey band above. The right gable may show a roughcast timber-frame.
