Description
The Spicers House is a house that dates from the 18th century, with a core that may be even older. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys, a cellar, and an attic, with a four-window range. The windows are 20th-century, 6/6 sashes set beneath brick sills and segmental arches, and there is a storey band. There are two dormers with 20th-century casements and weather boarding. On the left side, there is a 20th-century, six-fielded-panel door with a fanlight, which is set under a semi-circular arch and has a 20th-century open pediment hood supported by fluted pilasters. Additionally, there is an inserted doorway with a 20th-century plank door and two 20th-century, 6/6 sashes in altered openings, along with a storey band above.
