SHIFNAL C.P. BROADWAY (West side) Nos. 25 and 27

GV II

Pair of houses. Mid to late C18. Red brick with C19 banded tile roof. 3 storeys. End pilaster strips, moulded wooden eaves cornice, end stack to left, and ridge stack off-centre to right. 4 bays on first floor; glazing bar sashes with gauged heads. Ground floor C18 tripartite glazing bar sash to left with moulded mullions and cornice. 2 doors, between first and second windows from left, and to far right; 6 raided and fielded panels, architraves, semi-circular fanlights with intersecting Gothic tracery, and doorcases consisting of panelled pilaster strips and cut brackets supporting flat hoods with moulded cornices and panelled soffits.
