Description

Nos. 1 to 3, North View is a house that has been converted into flats, dating from around 1840. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and includes a plinth, a double toothed-brick eaves cornice, and two stacks positioned at the rear, one on the left and one on the right. The façade has three irregularly spaced bays, with four-pane sash windows that have gauged heads; the ground floor windows are fitted with louvred shutters. Access to the central door is via three steps. The door itself has six raised and fielded panels, an architrave, and a radial fanlight, all framed by a doorcase with tapered fluted pilasters that support a full entablature. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
