Description

Nos 7 and 9 Victoria Road are a pair of houses, now used as offices, dating from around 1830. They are constructed of red brick and topped with a slate roof. The buildings have a basement and three storeys, featuring end pilaster strips, a frieze band, deep eaves, and end stacks. The façade consists of four bays with glazing bar sash windows that have painted keyed lintels. There are two central doors, each with six flush panels and panelled reveals, flanked by two central doorcases that feature fret-ornamented pilaster strips, entablatures with triglyph friezes, and triangular pediments. The buildings also have railed basement areas on the left and right.
