REDDITCH B CHURCH GREEN (east side) SP 0467 NW Town Centre 12/30 Nos 7 and 8 [formerly listed as Nos 7-13 (consec)] 8.5.81

GV II

Pair of houses, now offices. Late C18 with mid-C20 alterations. Brick with concrete-tiled roofs and large brick stacks. Three storeys with dentilled eaves cornice. Six bays; windows have stone sills; left ground floor and all first floor windows have stepped rusticated lintels with corniced keyblocks; third and fifth bays of ground floor have tripartite windows with plain sashes and stepped rusticated lintels; left ground floor window and four first floor windows are 16-pane sashes; first floor window in fourth bay is blind with original recessed panel of brickwork; first floor window in fifth bay has a 4-pane sash; second floor has four 8-pane sashes and two 2-light casements (in left two bays). Main entrances in second and fourth bays have moulded architraves and flat canopies, 6-panelled doors (three of which are raised) and plain transom lights. Wide carriage archway with cambered head and moulded keyblock in sixth bay. Interior not inspected.
