13, Church Green

This building, located at 13 Church Green, is a house that has been converted into offices. It was constructed around 1840, although it has an earlier rear section and underwent alterations in the mid-20th century. The exterior is finished in painted stuccoed brick and features a flat roof behind a blocking course.

The building stands three storeys tall and is distinguished by a wide moulded cornice at both the first floor and eaves levels. It has two bays separated by three giant pilasters, with an additional giant pilaster on the left side. The ground floor includes a mid-20th century shop window, while the first floor windows are adorned with moulded flat canopies supported by consoles. Both the first and second floor windows have moulded architraves and consist of 6-pane sashes, with larger panes on the first floor.

The main entrance, located to the left of the centre, features a moulded flat canopy, pilasters, and a glazed mid-20th century door. There is also a glazed mid-20th century door to the left of the main entrance. The interior of the building has not been inspected. At the rear, there are two gabled wings that are much older, possibly dating back to the late 17th century, suggesting that the building was refronted in the 19th century.
