Description
Nos. 10 and 12 George Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from red brick and feature a 20th-century tile roof. The buildings are rectangular and consist of two storeys with attics. The front elevation is symmetrical, with each house having three windows on each floor. All windows are sashes with glazing bars and are set under gauged brick flat arches. Each house has a 20th-century box dormer that contains a two-light casement window with glazing bars. The central doorway of each house features a six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, set in panelled reveals and adorned with a moulded architrave and a moulded cornice supported by cut brackets. A central red brick multiple ridge stack is present, along with integral red brick stacks at both gable ends.
