Description
Nos. 8 and 10 Bridge Road are two houses that were originally built as one house in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a plain tile roof with two gable stacks. The left gable has brick coping, while the right gable is slate-coped, and there is some tumbling present. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays.
The central doorway has a plain door and an overlight, with a reveal and doorcase that is topped with an open pediment. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, although the one on the right does not have glazing bars in the lower half. Above, there are three smaller sash windows, all similar in style and fitted with flush wedge lintels. The attic features three 20th-century dormers, each with a single plain casement window.
