Description
Nene Lodge is a house built around 1830, constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof that features overhanging eaves. The building has two lateral stacks and stands two storeys high with three bays. The central bay projects and is topped with a hipped roof. There is a central doorway that is accessed by three steps, featuring a panelled and glazed door framed by a painted pilastered doorcase with an entablature and cornice. Each side wall has a single small plain sash window, while larger plain sashes are located on either side of the central bay. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes, and the side walls of the projecting bay each contain a single small plain sash. All the sashes are set under cambered arches and have flush wedge lintels.
