Description

The Shrubberies is a house built around 1830. It is constructed from local gault brick and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof with end stacks. The building has a main range with a service wing at the rear and stands two storeys tall. The façade consists of three bays that are divided by pilaster strips with sunken panels. At the first floor, there are three original recessed hung sash windows, each with twelve panes and stone sills. On the ground floor, there are two larger windows with sixteen panes on either side of a central doorway. The entrance features a four-panelled door topped with a rectangular fanlight.
