Description
Needham Lodge is a house built around 1820. It is constructed of local brick, primarily gault, and features a slate roof with end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. There are three mid-19th century hung sash windows in their original openings. The central doorway is framed by an original doorcase that has a broken pediment with dentils, supported by plain pilasters and topped with an entablature. The door itself is panelled and has reveals, with a round-headed arch above it leading to a fanlight that includes glazing bars.
