Description
Crescent Cottage is a building that dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. Originally a pair of cottages, it has been converted into a single dwelling. The exterior is constructed of brown gault brick, with some yellow gault brick on part of the side wall, and features a parapetted roof covered in slate. The building has two storeys and includes three recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars on the upper floor, and four similar windows on the ground floor, two of which occupy the locations of the original doorways. The rear wall is notable for its bow window set within a moulded architrave. Inside, there is one room that showcases bolection moulded panelling and a shouldered surround to the fireplace overmantle.
