Description

Ashberry House is a building that originally consisted of two cottages but is now a single dwelling. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and is constructed of brick in English bond with a pantile roof. The house has two storeys and features three windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a four-fielded-panel door with a divided overlight, set within a fluted architrave that has consoles supporting a cornice. The windows are 16-pane sashes, with one in the second bay located in a blocked doorway. The first floor also has 16-pane sashes. Throughout the building, there are wooden keyed wedge lintels, and it has a cogged eaves course along with end stacks.
