Description
Mount Pleasant is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with herringbone tooling and features an interlocking tile roof. The building has two storeys with an attic and is arranged in three bays, with a wing to the rear right and an outshut at the back of the other two bays. The facade is symmetrical and includes a plinth, a central six-panel door beneath a three-pane overlight, and 16-pane sash windows, all of which have keyed lintels and projecting sills. Additional architectural details include an eaves band, shaped kneeleers, ashlar coping, and brick stacks at the ends. At the rear, the outshut is covered by a swept catslide roof.
