Description

Newton House Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1825, built with its gable end facing the road. The house is constructed of brown brick, featuring a shallow-pitched slate roof and end stacks. It is two storeys high, with stone sills and flat arches over three recessed sash windows, each with sixteen panes. A central doorway is set within a doorcase featuring narrow pilasters, a plain entablature, and a narrow hood, topped with a rectangular fanlight. Later additions have been made to the rear of the property.
