Curlew Lodge

Curlew Lodge is an early 19th-century house located on Guy's Head Road in Sutton Bridge. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with 20th-century concrete tiles, which has overhanging eaves. The house is two storeys high and has five bays. The central doorway is adorned with a panelled and glazed door, an overlight, a panelled reveal, and a pilastered doorcase that includes an entablature and cornice. On either side of the doorway are two glazing bar sash windows, with five similar sashes located above on the upper floor. All the sashes have flat heads and flush wedge lintels.

At the rear of the house is a two-and-a-half storey, four-bay range that features a single ridge stack. This range has a doorway with a part-glazed door set under a segmental arch. To the right of this doorway are two segmental arched glazing bar sashes, while to the left is a single casement window under a flat arch. Above this doorway is a single plain sash window under a segmental arch. To the left of the range is a single segmental arched casement and on the far left, there is a single casement window under a flat arch. Above these are three small segmental arched glazing bar sashes.

Attached to this range is a two-storey structure, likely a former granary, which has two segmental arched casements on each floor.
