Description
Nos. 60 and 62 on Stubbins Street are a pair of early 19th-century cottages. They are constructed from watershot coursed sandstone with some quoins and feature a slate roof with gable chimneys, one of which is made of brick. The cottages have a double-depth, two-bay plan and are two storeys tall with a symmetrical design. In the centre, there are two matching doors with plain surrounds, flanked by two sashed windows on each floor. At the rear, No. 60 has a single-storey extension and two single-light windows in the centre of the first floor; otherwise, the openings match those at the front. These cottages are listed for their group value only.
