Description
Nos. 63 and 65 on Church Street are a pair of cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from chevron dressed sandstone and feature a clay pantile roof with two brick stacks at the gables. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two bays. No. 63 has a late 19th-century shop front, while there is a doorway on the left-hand side of No. 65. Both cottages have Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars, and there is a keystone above a three-light window on the ground floor. Extensions attached to the rear (west) elevation are not of interest.
