Description

No. 53 is a house and shop dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted dressed sandstone and features a clay pantile roof with stone ridge copings. There is a brick stack on the right-hand side. The building has two storeys, with a mid-20th century shop front on the ground floor. The first floor has a late 20th century casement window set in the original opening.
