Description
This is a late 18th-century house and shop located on Church Street in Guisborough. The front is smooth, rendered, and faced with dressed sandstone, topped by a clay pantile roof with stone ridge and gable copings. A brick stack is situated on the left-hand side. The ground floor has been altered with a mid-20th century shop front. A sash window with glazing bars is visible on the first floor. The rear (west) elevation is of random rubble sandstone and features a Yorkshire sash window with glazing bars to the ground floor and another sash with glazing bars to the first floor.
