Description

Studley House is a house, originally built as a single dwelling in the mid-18th century and later divided into two separate units. It is constructed of rough rendered brick. The roof is clad in flat clay tiles, with stone gable coping and a kneeler on the right-hand side. There are three brick stacks. The house is two storeys high and has five bays. Painted quoins are visible on the right-hand side. The upper floor features sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has late 19th-century sash windows. A doorway is located in the second bay. Painted keystones and sills are present. Late 20th-century gabled roof dormers have been added to the first and third bays, and a skylight is situated in the fifth bay. Extensions to the rear (east side) of the property at No. 46 are not considered to be of architectural interest.
