Description

This is a late 18th-century house on Church Street, Guisborough. It is built of chevron-dressed sandstone, with a clay pantile roof, stone ridge and gable copings, and two brick stacks. The house is two storeys high. The ground floor features a mid-20th century casement window on the right side, a central doorway, and double-boarded timber doors leading to a cart shed on the left side. The first floor has three late 19th-century sash windows with painted stone sills and lintels. A rear extension to the north and an outbuilding to the northeast are not considered to be of particular interest. The building is included on the list for group value with numbers 46 to 52 (even numbers) and 76 Church Street.
