Description
Eaves Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It is constructed from watershot coursed sandstone rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof with gable chimneys. The building has a double-depth, two-bay plan, with an additional single-bay shippon added to the right end under the same roof.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a continuous drip course that steps over the rectangular lintel of a doorway, which is offset to the right of the centre. There are two recessed chamfered mullion windows on each floor, with five lights and four lights on the ground floor, and four lights on both windows above. The shippon to the right includes a two-light window and a door.
At the rear, there is a two-light window in the first bay, two single-light windows in the second bay, and two small two-light windows on the first floor. The shippon projects and has two square windows.
