Description
Nos. 120 and 122 on Booth Road are a pair of cottages built around 1800. They are constructed from watershot coursed sandstone and feature a stone slate roof, with a chimney located at the left gable and another on the ridge where they meet No. 124. The cottages have a double-depth plan, with each cottage consisting of one bay and two storeys. The front has coupled doorways with plain surrounds and stepped triple-light windows on both floors, along with two additional windows between those on the first floor. The left side of the building has three different windows and a small single-storey extension with a corner chimney, likely a washhouse. The rear also has stepped triple-light windows on both floors, along with some anciently blocked lights on the first floor.
