Pair of houses, c.1800, altered, now shops. Watershot coursed sandstone (front), slobbered sandstone rubble (rear), stone slate roof with ridge chimney stacks in the centre and at each end. Double depth plan, each one bay. Built on slope, 3 storeys presenting only 2 storeys to the front: No. 320 has double-fronted shop window, No. 322 has an inserted shop window and a doorway with plain surround, and both have 2 sashed windows above. Principal feature of interest is rear wall, which has one stepped triple-light window at lower ground floor and 2 similar windows on each floor above. History: probably associated with domestic manufacture. (Item resembles Nos. 366 and 368 Newchurch Road, q.v.).
