Description

This barn, dating from the 17th century, is located adjacent to New Laithe Farmhouse. It is constructed of stone and features a stone slate roof. The barn has a projecting porch, and to the left, there is a partially blocked doorway that has a massive lintel with a chamfered, elliptical arched hood. Inside, the barn has an aisled layout with four bays and a long post roof, supported by arcade posts on stone stylobates.
