Description
The Sun Inn is a public house dating from 1793, as indicated by a relocated datestone. It is constructed of coursed rubble, which was painted in 1981, and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high. The ground floor has four two-light sash windows. The first floor has five sash windows; the two on the left have two lights each. The windows have square mullions and window surrounds. There are three doorways: one on the left is lower and has a plain surround; the off-centre doorway has a fanlight; and the doorway on the right has a moulded pediment. A modern glazed porch is present. A small, irregular window is positioned to the left. Evidence suggests earlier windows and a doorway were present, but these have been blocked. Five chimneys are visible.
